Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use Daily Meaning.
Last updated: June 20261. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Daily Meaning service ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
Daily Meaning provides URL shortening, redirect, and click-tracking services. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age in your country, if higher) to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
- Phish, scam, or deceive other users.
- Distribute illegal content (including content that infringes copyright or trademarks).
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Circumvent rate limits, technical safeguards, or access controls.
- Resell the Service or compete with it using our infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We may disable individual short links that point at content violating these rules, without notice if the violation is clear.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the long URLs you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and serve those URLs as needed to provide the redirect service. You represent that you have the right to link to the URLs you submit.
6. Pricing and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Fees are non-refundable except as described in our refund policy (see Help Center). We may change pricing with 30 days' notice; existing paid periods are honored at the original price.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all defects will be corrected. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for material breach of these Terms, or if required by law. On termination, your active links continue to resolve until the end of any paid period, after which they may be deactivated.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or service notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
